For about a decade I worked under the alias PsyPhi as a VJ, new media artist, and creative technologist. Live visuals at festivals across Atlantic Canada, projection-mapped stages, and interactive installations driven by Kinect, Leap Motion, Vive controllers, and the LookingGlass holographic display.
Most of it was built in TouchDesigner, Resolume, and Unity, with a heavy dose of generative geometry, real-time feedback, and whatever sensors I could get my hands on. The alias is retired now. Click any tile to view it full size.
2018 : Flash Festival, Moncton
An interactive projection-mapped installation. A generative mandala feedback loop in TouchDesigner, with Kinect tracking so people in the room could shape what they saw. The gallery version ran in a public lab space at Flash Festival.
2019 : Track Art
A commissioned series of cover images for HomeBass FM's mix releases, each tailored to the artist behind the mix. Ten covers in TouchDesigner, with glitch passes and psychedelic finish work. East coast electronic talent: NatBeast, Loa Gaze, Buck Banger, Kitty Bass, Lady Nausikaa, Nick E. Tee, Synesthesia, and others.

2019 : Track Art
Cover work for Lewcid's wonk-bass EP. Mantis heads and the Penrose triangle as visual cues. Two pieces from the set, including the alternate cover that did not ship publicly.

2019 : Festival, Atlantic Canada
A favorite festival night. VJing alongside Wasko AV and Anand Friesen. Resolume and TouchDesigner, jammed live. Six clips from the set.
2019 : Festival, New Brunswick
A custom centerpiece cut from plywood on a Maslow CNC and lined with addressable WS2812 LEDs. The whole thing was driven from Resolume over Artnet, so the lighting and visuals stayed in lock-step with the music. VJing duties shared with Anand Friesen and Vessel Visuals.

2020 : Community
A small thank-you to the people who built the East Coast scene with me. Artists, organizers, friends. Most of these projects only happened because they showed up.

2021 : Holographic
The first round of generative content I built for the LookingGlass holographic display. Fluid simulations and abstract shorts authored in Blender, then exported to the device's quilt format for true 3D output.
